A wardrobe affair
Amber Javed from @awardrobeaffair has styled Guzarish line by us, beautifully in a very playful yet graceful manner using old buildings as a background linking the traditional vibe with the modern. It gave off a cute old school charm with the styled piece each telling its own story, just like the buildings they were styled against. Old buildings have stories to tell us . Buildings are more than just architecture they are a snapshot of life.
She styled a sunshine yellow 1 piece shirt embroidered with a crisp white tulip shalwar and yellow and white dupatta. The outfit looked super cute with kolapuris and silver jewelry.
The second piece amber styled for us was a 2-piece embroidered shirt and dupatta in dull forest green with a heavy embroidered shirt daman in dull gold and beige thread. The printed dupatta is in a darker shade of the same green. It is paired with beige trousers and styled with traditional silver Balis and a cute maroon velvet drawstring pouch.

The Dupatta is of contrasting deep maroon textured fabric with black detailing. The neckline of the shirt is heavily embroidered in yellow gold dori. These 2 pieces can be styled in three ways. One with a straight cut trouser in matching off white colour, two with a deep maroon choridar pajama, or three with a plain black lehnga for a festive look. Local silver Balis or hoops and traditional footwear will complete the look.
